hey, good news, i finally finished a little comic.



i'll be a happy participant at S.P.A.C.E. again this upcoming weekend.
i wasn't very johnny-on-the-spot drumming up any work this year, actually going so far as to sloth about until february before actually starting any work.
i managed to get nine pages of comic with this cover done in about a month, well below a professional pace, but pretty good for me. still the time crunch demanded that i take a few short cuts.

if any of you onlookers are going to be at the convention feel free to look my buddy ron and i up, table 103.
i'll post more art later, if anyone is interested in having a copy of your very own send me your snail mail and i'll get you on in the mail when we get back next week.

S.P.A.C.E. was last weekend in columbus. that's the Small Press And Comics Expo. i was fortunate enough to not only get to attend it for the first time, i also managed to snag a table!

i had a great time!
we ate some of the most delicious chicken wings i've ever had. we heard the people in the room next to ours having sex at around 4 in the morning at the hotel. and then i had one of the most expensive, most flavorful, most tender steaks to close out the trip.
who could ask for more?

hi there livejournal. how have you been?
my latest project has been a jaunt into the realm of flash animation. kind of like i talked about on here, i don't know a half a dozen years ago?
i don't have a 'toon to show you yet. but i have my in progress stuff to share with you.

i made myself an imaginary friend one night at work.
we had some spare fome kor and some paper. i drew him with a big fat sharpie and then cut him out.



he's named "badger hawthorne," he's a simple little fawn with a mind for style and a genuine sense of humor. he's allergic to humans though, and as a result of hanging out with me he's gotten a sinus infection.

well, if you happen to be a regular follower of my sporadic journalings here you may recall i swore to have an upload of that one comic thing i did that was legible.
but i'm here to tell you that file is cursed!
rather fitting that it would be so on halloween.
anyhow, i gave up.
don't feel left out, it only stood a chance of being amusing IF you live in cincinnati and IF you closely follow politics here. which i'm guessing you don't, right mom?

i know it's been at least the better part of a decade since i've posted anything on here.
i blame my slothful nature.
and also the really hellish time i've been having with photobucket. what gives photobucket? we used to be such good friends.
so now i spend my long lonesome nights searching in vain for a new photo hosting site. i've had issues with them all, imageshack, flickr, picturetrail, tinyurl, the list goes on.
since the only common factor so far has been me and the computers at work it seems fairly obvious where the problem is.
...but i'm still hoping that it's the computers.

anyways, i have actually be doodling things.
and point of fact, one of them got published in our local alternative scene newspaper.
